Dear Fellow Butler County Voters:

As your Republican candidate for Butler County Commissioner-Eastern District, I promise to earn your trust and perform the job of Commissioner with professionalism, courtesy and fiscal responsibility.

As a Butler County taxpayer, YOU deserve a County Commissioner who has first-hand experience with construction and maintenance of quality roads and bridges and the working knowledge of fiscal responsibility with your tax dollars. After 34 years as an employee with the Missouri Department of Transportation, I can put my experience to work for you!

As a MoDot maintenance employee, I worked on many road and bridge projects first hand. After being promoted to Crew Leader, Supervisor and later Superintendent in Way, Ripley and Butler Counties, i had the privilege of supervising 34 employees while overseeing 1200 miles of roadway construction, maintenance and safety. I was entrusted with the responsibility of managing annual budgets of $400,000 to $1.5 million.

I consider myself to be a no-nonsense businessman who, for 34 years, worked for the citizens of our great state. Now, I am asking for your vote and support to allow me to bring my experience and expertise to the office of Butler County Commissioner.

I promise you dedication, hard work and a deep concern of how best to spend our hard-earned tax dollars. In these difficult economic times, we all must spend our money wisely. My records proves I have done that in the past, and I will continue to do so as your Butler County Commissioner.
